THA MUSIC FACTORY DANCE AUDITION MAY 30, 2013

Tha Music Factory TV show is looking for more dancers and models (16+) for its upcoming show taping on June 1,2013. There will be another dance audition and model call on Thursday May 30, 2013at 7pm. This will take place at the Suede Lounge (257 Trinity Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30303). Tha Music Factory is a music/dance show that is a cross between 106th and park and soul train. Each episode features a performance by a popular hip hop artist and live dancers who make up the audience. This is an unpaid gig. However, some dancers may be chosen as repeat, feature dancers and will appear in future episodes. This is great for experience and exposure.

FreshHype is an entertainment group founded by local Atlanta entertainer, Xay Zoleil, specializing in dance, music, acting, improvisation, and theatre.

ULTIMATE Goal: To travel the world , and put on FreshHype variety shows that showcase all different types of entertainment into one, big showcase.

What are we looking for: dancers, actors, musicians, and all around entertainers who are PASSIONATE about what they do and are willing to work hard to work from the ground up to make FreshHype a known showcase.

When: 5th grade through adult, Saturday, June 1, 2013 @ 7-9pm

What: 7-8pm will be for the dancers...after 8pm will be for all other talents

Those who are in 5th - 8th grade will be required to register for rehearsals on Tuesdays at 5:30pm at Dancefx Atlanta.

Dancers-be able to perform short choreography taught by Xay and do a quick 30 second freestyle
Musicians: bring your instrument of choice and play a full minute. More will be requested of you during the actual audition.

Singers/Rappers: singers perform any song of your choice. Rappers must perform an original piece. (keep it clean!)

Actors/Improvisors: Prepare a 30 second-2 minute monologue of your choice. More will be requested of you at the actual audition.

***keep in mind, FreshHype is a dance-heavy group. However, dance does not necessarily need to be your main talent.***

SANDY SPRINGS BALLET AUDITIONS MAY 17-19, 2013

The Sandy Springs Ballet, newly formed non-profit dance company in Sandy Springs Georgia is having spring and summer auditions for ages 11-26 for their apprentice, pre-professional, professional programs. The Auditions will be held on May 17, 18, 19 and June 7,8,9 at The Bush Centre for Ballet in Sandy Springs. All applicants should expect to take a placement class during the audition. Those ages 11-12 should have some exposure to Pointe, while ages 13-16 hould have a minimum of 2 years of pointe to apply for any of the programs. Applicants for the Professional and Pre-professional program should bring a photo, video of themselves, and a one page resume stating their dance career goals. Our program includes annual training, performance(s), and community outreach. Tha Music Factory TV show premiering on MyATL is having auditions for its second show. We are looking for a variety of dancers ages 18 and up only. All ethnicities please. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 2-4 pm and taping will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013. Audition location will be at the Suede Tapas Lounge 257 Trinity Ave. Atlanta GA.30303

Tha Music Factory is a cross between Soul Train and 106 and Park. Somewhat of a music dance show. Special celebrity guest performances and featured dancers which make up the audience, gives this show a unique old school feel with new school swag. Although this is not a paid gig, this is a great opportunity for exposure and experience.

2013 ATLANTA FALCONS CHEERLEADERS AUDITIONS

The Atlanta Falcons are looking for enthusiastic ladies with a dance/cheer background, a positive attitude, a winning smile and the dedication to be the best.

Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders auditions are comprised of two stages: Preliminary auditions and final auditions.

Preliminary auditions will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 at the Atlanta Falcons Training Facility located at 4400 Falcon Parkway in Flowery Branch, Ga. Preliminary auditions are open to the public. (Click here for a map and directions)

Final auditions will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. Final auditions are closed to the public.

Preliminary Auditions

Registration will take place from 7:45-9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 at the Atlanta Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch, Ga. Auditions will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

ATTIRE: A two-piece leotard (bra top and dance trunks), skin-tone/matte tights, socks and white tennis shoes. No dance pants, please.
WHAT TO BRING: A recent non-returnable photo (snapshot accepted), a valid photo ID, a light lunch/drink, a non-refundable $30 (cash or money order only) application fee, your application (click here to download) and a resume.
MAP AND DIRECTIONS: Click here for directions to the Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch.

There will be at least two cuts during preliminary auditions. Lunch will not be provided and no concessions will be available, so please bring any food or drinks you may need. Food and drink will not be allowed on the training facility field. Please plan on staying all day as finalists will be announced following the second cut. Should you become a finalist, there will be a mandatory 15-minute interview on Monday, April 8. This will be arranged at the preliminary audition. You will learn the final cut at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.
