Hey Atlanta! Be apart of the biggest event in the U.S! On July 31st, celebrate National Dance Day at Atlantic Station for the "Dance For Life Expo 2010" from 1:00 pm -6:00 pm. This movement is being led by So You Think You Can Dance producer Nigel Lythgoe and the Dizzy Feet Foundation. The day will be filled with performances and dance contests where the winner will win a trip to LA to see So You Think You Can Dance. Don't miss out on this event!

On Saturday, August 21st African American Dance Review presents "The Fusion Experience workshop at AREA dance studio. The workshop is also offering youth classes for ages 8-17. Hey Atlanta! Choreographer Jimmy Locust will be holding a Tech-Hop Master Class at Gotta Dance Atlanta this Friday, July 9th at 8:30-10:00pm. His credits include working with artists such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Justin Bieber and so much more! The Master Class is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. No class cards or memberships may be applied. Don't miss out!

Hey dance lovers! If your going to be in the Chicago area be sure to check out the Move Dance workshop. The Move Dance workshop will be holding a workshop on Saturday, July 10th at Visceral Dance Center. Angalina Grima will be teaching Contemporary Hip Hop at 11:00am-12:30pm. Tony Golden Jr. will be Contemporary at 12:45pm-2:15pm. "Redd" Williams will be teaching  Hip Hop at 2:45pm-4:15pm. Tyler Parks will also be teaching Hip Hop at 4:30pm-6:00pm. Each class is $15, but for all four classes you will pay only $45.00. Group rates available for crews of five or more dancers.

Fresh Talent Friday is Back!!! Today's Fresh Talent Friday comes from 11 year old Simrin Player. Simrin Player started dancing at the age of 8. Simrin is trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Some of her credits include Step Up 3D, VMA pre show, and VH1 Hip Hop Honors Awards. Simrin Player is undeniably gifted and truly talented! Remember the name Simrin Player because she is going to do great things! Check her out!
