AtLA TakeOva 2011

Wow!!! What a weekend!!! ATL Dance Source had the opportunity to attend the first annual AtLA TakeOva Professional Dance Intensive this past weekend. Dancers traveled near and far to take part in this convention. Attendees had one on one teaching from some of the most demanding choreographers in the industry and received professional advice on how to market themselves as dancers. The weekend was long and grueling, but all in all the dancers walked away with a life changing experience. We commend Kym N. Gatti, Sakinah LeStage, KiKi Ely, Codie Wiggins, and Sean Bankhead for bringing this amazing convention to the Atlanta community. AtLA TakeOva opens doors for dancers in the south and shines light on the possibilities and dreams for tomorrow.
