PINA IS PHENOMENAL!!!

What else can you say about this phenomenal film? If Pina is just a glimpse inside of Pina Bausch numerous works, then a second film must be made. That amount of talent was unmistakably predestined and set aside for her alone. Wim Wenders, director of the fillm, captured the pure essence of every piece. Each dance scene takes you inside the raw emotion of Pina's most sacred thoughts and persona. “Le Sacre du printemps”, the opening piece of the film, is a pure example of how Pina's work takes you inside the heart and emotion of each dancer. Le Sacre du printemps leaves you filling the after effects of every emotion. The whole stage is filled ankle deep with peat, so each movement and placement of the body is left behind. The amazing 3D effects hightens the dramatization and heart felt emotion of the film.

Furthermore, Pina Bausch was not only an inspiration to her family and friends, but her artistic expression influences the world. Bausch will forever have a lasting imprint on the dance community. In her words "Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost!"

Be sure to go see the film! It's life changing! We want to give a special thanks to Mary Murphy and 360 communications for inviting us to the private screening of Pina!
