THE PULSE ON TOUR MAKES ITS WAY BACK TO THE ATL

For the ninth consecutive year, dance icons join The PULSE to create the ultimate dance experience for thousands. With the November kick-off of a 2012-2013 Tour, comes more opportunities to a greater body of dancers as The PULSE adds international cities in Mexico, The United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan to the highly anticipated domestic lineup for the upcoming season.

Confirmed PULSE Atlanta Faculty includes, Tyce Diorio (SYTYCD, ), Dave Scott (Step Up, SYTYCD), Cris Judd ( ), Gild Duldulao (Nicki Minaj, Janet Jackson), Brooke Lipton (Glee, ), Tessandra Chavez (X Factor, SYTYCD), Ian Eastwood (ABDC, Black Eyed Peas), and PULSE Emcee, Carmit Bachar (Pussycat Dolls). 

Featuring “a group of the most respected choreographers in the biz” (US Magazine), The PULSE On Tour, educates and inspires dancers across the country by providing them unprecedented access to all-star choreographers and groundbreaking training through classes, performances, seminars, scholarships, meet and greets, Q&A’s and more.

The PULSE has hosted over 80,000 dancers ages 11 to 40 in 30 cities across the United States and Canada.

An exciting weekend workshop, just for dancers ages 8-13! Camp PULSE features the masterminds behind your favorite Nickelodeon and Disney TV Shows and Movies, including: Shake It Up, iCarly, Camp Rock, Victorious, High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and MORE.

In Atlanta, Camp PULSE is a separate event happening at the SAME TIME, SAME PLACE. Bring your entire studio or family!

Confirmed Camp PULSE Atlanta Faculty includes, David Moore (Step Up 3D, Good Luck Charlie), Nancy O’Meara (Carly Rae Jepsen, High School Musical), and Rosero McCoy (Shake it Up, Camp Rock).

DANCE ATHENS 2012

The DanceATHENS Dance Festival is Sunday, October 14-October 21, and includes 2 celebrity master teachers, tons of FREE events, and a culminating Dance Concert (on the 21st) where the Athens dance community and beyond join on stage and celebrate dance. The festival is an opportunity for Georgia dancers to come together and learn from one another.

Contemporary Ballet Movement with Olivia Anderson
Formerly of Houston Ballet II, Dancefx welcomes Master Teacher Oliva Anderson with a contemporary based barre warm up, and floor combination. Modern Pin-Ups Debut Revue
Modern Pin-Ups with special guests Contact Dance Company, Dancefx Concert Dance Company
The Modern Pin-Ups kick off their 2012-2013 performance season with their annual "Debut Revue" show at the Fabulous 40 Watt Club. Featuring performances by 16 lovely ladies and some special guest performances. Thursday, Oct. 18. Fabulous 40 Watt Club. Tickets $5 and are available online and at the door. Doors at 8pm, Show at 8:30

Thriller Tap Bash (ages 7 and Up)
Britton Campion leads a just-for-fun tap extravaganza for beginning tappers- no tap shoes required! Learn a quick routine to THRILLER just in time for Halloween, and join in the DanceATHENS spirit.
FREE, 4:30pm on Friday, October 19th for dancers age 7 and up.

Hip-Hop Halloween! (age 6-11)
Calling all hip-hoppers and at-home-in-front-of-the-tv dancers! Today's your day! Learn some new poppin' and lockin' moves with your friends at Dancefx to a Halloween themed tune. We can't wait to see you.
FREE, 5:30pm on Friday, October 19that Dancefx Studios in Five-Points. For dancers age 6-11, no experience needed.

Uniting Athens and beyond on the Morton Theatre stage, the DanceATHENS Dance Concert is the culmination of the DanceATHENS Dance Festival. Come enjoy what Athens has to offer, and the many special guests who join us from around the southeast to celebrate dance in its entirety.
