PTC Productions, the producers who brought you the PULSE on Tour, Camp Pulse, the So You Think You Can Dance Experience, and the Annual Teachers Workshop, introduce you to the next level of competition. Open Call is the only competition dedicated to providing unique and modern opportunities for dancers in a professional performance atmosphere. Our specialized judges' panel includes today’s top dancers, talent agents, directors, and choreographers. Through these various industry collaborations, we are offering unique pathways (such as agent calls, intensives, and training programs) for dancers to transition from the classroom to the professional working industry.
We look forward to forging a renewed commitment and teamwork among the many people and programs that already work to support artists and their careers. In addition, we are extremely excited to be delving into the world of dance competitions! Open Call will still offer dancers and teachers the many traditional benefits of healthy, positive competition as well as detailed, educated, written and video critiques from judges who are qualified and current in the industry circuit. Open Call is kicking off it's 2013 tour with nine regional events and one national finale. Our national finale, The Final Call Back, will take place at the beautiful Sandler Center for Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, VA, on July 11th-14th, 2013.
