SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH

ANGELO "AJ" SIOSON

This weeks "SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH" comes from choreographer Angelo Sioson. Angelo “A.J.” Sioson is the Founder and Owner of B Box Entertainment, a media and event production company based out of the San Jose, CA. Founded in 2001, B Box Entertainment’s most notable project is the Battlefest Live U.S. Tour, a 7 city series of urban dance competitions. The series is currently in a commercial rights agreement with Comcast Cable and Cox Cable’s Hip Hop on Demand channel to broadcast the events to its 32 million customer base later this year.

In May 2010, B Box will launch Dance Crew, a video game for the Apple iPhone, and iPad in the Fall. Players will be able to choreograph dance routines via the gestures on their screen, and in a later update, compete against one another's friends and purchase music and costumes.

Other projects include: Bamboo Park Filipino American Arts Festival, Beat Junction Urban Dance Showcase, DanceLife247.com, and B Box Live Sessions.
