DANCE CANVAS LEADER RECEIVES NATIONAL HONOR

ATL Dance Source wants to send a big congratulations to Angela Harris, founder and director of Dance Canvas, for receiving a national honor from Americans for the Art this past week.

Angela was recognized with the 2011 American Express Emerging Leader Award at the Americans for the Arts Annual convention in San Diego. The award was given to Harris based on her leadership and commitment to advancing the arts.

Thank you Angela for your commitment to advancing the arts here in Atlanta and all over the US!

3RD ANNUAL PARTY FOR THE ART

Hey Atlanta!!! Dance Canvas presents the 3rd Annual "Party for the Art" this Saturday, May 7th at Atlantic Station Central Park. The event is FREE and starts at 1:00 pm. Join them for a day filled with free dance workshops where you will get a chance to dance with Atlanta's top choreographers. Performances will be held at 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm, which will feature choreographers of Dance Canvas and special guests, Bubba Carr and Zoetic Company. Don't miss this great event!
